Prime Video Joins Masters 2026 Broadcast Team
The Masters Tournament streaming landscape is set for a major shift in 2026, as Amazon Prime Video joins CBS Sports and ESPN as a domestic broadcast partner.
The announcement was made by Fred Ridley, Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club, alongside Amazon executives.
From April 2026, Prime Video will offer fans two additional hours of live coverage during the opening rounds, providing a new way to experience golf’s most celebrated major.
What Prime Video Will Offer
Beginning Thursday 9 April and Friday 10 April, Prime Video will stream the Masters live from 1:00–3:00 PM ET, leading directly into ESPN’s traditional broadcast window (3:00–7:30 PM ET).
Weekend coverage remains anchored by CBS, which will air live from 2:00–7:00 PM ET on Saturday 11 April and Sunday 12 April. Earlier slots (12:00–2:00 PM ET) will be streamed on Paramount+.
This marks the first time that Amazon will deliver live Masters coverage, adding a new streaming option for U.S. audiences while retaining the long-standing partnerships with CBS and ESPN.
Reaction from Amazon
Jay Marine, Head of Prime Video U.S. and Global Sports, said:
“It’s an honour for all of us at Amazon to become a broadcast partner of the Masters Tournament and to provide fans additional hours of live coverage of this treasured event. We are humbled and proud to begin our relationship with Augusta National Golf Club, and we cannot wait to get started.”
The Broader Context
The move further expands Prime Video’s rapidly growing sports portfolio.
Already home to Thursday Night Football, NBA coverage, UEFA Champions League (UK, Germany, Italy, Ireland), Wimbledon (Germany, Austria), and multiple cricket, boxing, and football rights across global markets, Prime Video continues to position itself as a leading player in live sport streaming.
For golf fans, the addition of Prime Video offers more flexibility and more total hours of Masters coverage than ever before.
The 2026 Masters Tournament will take place from 6–12 April 2026, with full broadcast schedules to be confirmed closer to the event.
