Sunlife Appointed as Management Partner for Anahita Golf & Spa Resort in Mauritius
Anahita Golf & Spa Resort and Anahita Golf Club on the east coast of Mauritius have a new management partner as of July 1, 2025: Sunlife.
The appointment reflects a strategic move by Alteo, the property’s developer, to enhance Anahita’s status as a leading luxury golf and lifestyle destination in the Indian Ocean.
The collaboration between Alteo and Sunlife Mauritius, a leading hospitality group, is expected to bring new energy and operational expertise to the Anahita estate. The announcement also supports Sunlife’s broader goal of expanding its premium resort portfolio.
Strategic Growth for a Premier Golf Destination
For over 15 years, Anahita Golf & Spa Resort has combined resort hospitality, residential living, and world-class golf. The property includes:
- Luxury suites and villas (2 to 5 bedrooms) with a focus on privacy and service
- Leisure facilities such as a marina, spa, water sports, and nature trails
- Direct access to Île aux Cerfs Golf Club, creating a unique dual-golf experience
General Manager Christophe Ramdiane continues to oversee the resort’s hospitality offering, while Tristan Freslon leads the golf operations at Anahita Golf.
Championship Golf on Mauritius’ East Coast

Anahita Golf Club features an 18-hole, par-72 championship course designed by Ernie Els, offering panoramic lagoon views and access to professional training facilities.
The dual-access to Île aux Cerfs Golf Club enhances the resort’s reputation among golfers seeking variety and coastal scenery.

The partnership will also strengthen marketing and operational synergies between Anahita and Sunlife’s existing properties, including Sugar Beach, Long Beach, La Pirogue, and Ambre.
A Five-Year Roadmap for Development
Alteo and Sunlife are finalizing a five-year development plan to improve infrastructure, upgrade amenities, and strengthen Anahita’s position among world-class Mauritius golf resorts. The partnership is also working to ensure a smooth transition for staff, homeowners, and guests.
According to Sunlife CEO François Eynaud:
“This marks a key milestone in our growth strategy and reflects our ambition to offer greater choice in how people experience Mauritius.”
Alteo CEO Fabien de Marassé Enouf added that the agreement “ensures continued growth and international recognition of the destination while preserving its core values.”
