New Starter Hut Elevates Experience at Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort
Golfers heading to Cyprus this summer can expect an upgraded start to their rounds with the unveiling of a new, state-of-the-art starter hut at Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort.
The development reinforces the venue’s reputation as one of Europe’s top golf destinations, combining convenience, comfort, and hospitality before the opening tee shot.
Inside Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort’s Latest Upgrade
More than just a place to check in, the new starter hut has been designed as a fully equipped café with outdoor seating.
Stocked with essentials such as scorecards and chilled bottled water, the facility also offers an extensive menu of refreshments.
From coffee and smoothies to wine, champagne, and prosecco, players can relax and set the tone for their round in style.
Food options are equally varied, ranging from breakfast brioche buns and bagels to wraps, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, and Mediterranean specialities such as Pinsa Bruschetta.
Positioned by the first tee, the hut also doubles as a halfway house after nine holes or a post-round stop for light bites and drinks.
Part of Major Investment in Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort
The starter hut is the latest stage in Aphrodite Hills Resort’s wider plans to strengthen its standing as a premier sporting destination.
Already home to the PGA National Cyprus, the resort has recently completed or begun several major projects, including the island’s first Trackman Range and a renovation of its Sports Hub.
Miguel Girbes, Director of Golf and Sports at the resort, explained the thinking behind the new addition:
“With so many incredible golf venues in Europe, it isn’t enough to have an exceptional course. The golfing experience at Aphrodite Hills starts long before you hit your first tee shot, and we wanted our starter hut to set the tone for an unforgettable round of golf.”
He added that the hut marks the beginning of an exciting new phase:
“A key goal is to maintain our reputation as one of the best sporting destinations in Europe, and these developments are an important part of that process.”
