Deane Golf Club president Bob Fraser has notched his third ace. The 75-year-old holed a six iron on the 158-yard 10th hole at Breightmet Golf Club during the Bolton Golf Association’s Ken Jones Trophy.
Ironically, luck was in his favour as it was Friday the 13th (September). It must have gone in at a good rate of knots as Bob and his partners Alan Rowley (Hindley Hall), Colin Armstrong (Chorley), and Colin Dickinson (Great Lever) heard it rattle the flag!
