Real Club Valderrama to Host LIV Golf Andalucía 2026
Real Club Valderrama in Sotogrande will once again welcome the world’s leading golfers when it hosts LIV Golf Andalucía 2026 from 5–7 June.
The Spanish venue, one of Europe’s most celebrated courses, will stage the event for the fourth consecutive year, offering fans another chance to see elite team and individual competition on its famously demanding layout.
Real Club Valderrama to Host LIV Golf for Fourth Year
Consistently ranked among the top courses on the continent, Real Club Valderrama’s reputation was cemented during the 1997 Ryder Cup and it remains a stern test for the modern game.
Its narrow fairways and pristine presentation have made it a favourite with players and spectators alike.
The 2026 edition will continue the course’s growing association with LIV Golf, following successful stagings since 2023.
LIV Golf Executive Vice President and Head of Events Ross Hallett described the venue as “a pillar of our global schedule”, adding that Spain is “a vital part of our future” thanks to its combination of golfing heritage and fan enthusiasm.
Star-Studded Field Returns to Sotogrande
The 54-hole tournament will feature all 13 LIV Golf teams, bringing together 54 players, including 18 major champions with a combined 28 majors.
The line-up includes two-time LIV Golf Andalucía champion Talor Gooch, 2025 season points leader Joaquin Niemann, and global stars such as Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickelson, Cam Smith, and Dustin Johnson.
Legion XIII captain Jon Rahm will return to the venue where he led his team to victory in 2025, while Fireballs GC, featuring Sergio Garcia, Josele Ballester, David Puig, and Abraham Ancer, will be looking to delight home supporters once more.
Local Heroes Lead the Charge in Andalucía
Garcia, who lifted the individual title in 2024, spoke of the special connection between the event and its Spanish fanbase:
