MACCLESFIELD Golf Club past captains Clive Howlett and Gill Evans have presented their charities with cheques for £5,000 each.
Clive’s chosen charity was the Macclesfield-based charity ROAR (Reach Out and Recover) and Gill’s was The Alzheimer’s Society, in memory of her mum who had dementia.
Gill said:
“Thanks to the generosity of everyone at Macclesfield Golf Club we raised £10,000, which is absolutely amazing!”
Clive and Gill gave a huge thank you to all for their support and generosity, and to all who turned up for the presentation of the charity cheques.
