Prestbury Golf Club Captain Raises £18,000 for Cancer Research UK
Prestbury Golf Club captain Ken Williamson has raised an impressive £18,000 during his year in office to support Cancer Research UK.
The funds were collected through various events held over the past 12 months, and Ken presented the cheque to the charity in October.
Ken expressed his gratitude to the club members and supporters:
“This is a huge amount of money that will hopefully be used to find a cure for this dreadful disease. I would like to thank the members and supporters of Prestbury Golf Club for their generous donations.”
