New GT1 3TOUR Fairway Adds Stronger Loft Option to Titleist Lineup
Titleist has unveiled the GT1 3TOUR fairway wood, a new addition to its GT series that offers a tour-inspired design for enhanced loft performance and reduced spin.
Now available for fittings and set to hit stores on August 7, 2025, the GT1 3TOUR has been meticulously designed based on insights from tour professionals. The pros sought a shallow, easy-launch design, coupled with slightly stronger lofts and improved spin control.
The new model combines a 14.5-degree loft with a low centre of gravity, using a multi-material construction to achieve a more penetrating ball flight while maintaining high launch and stability.
Key Performance Features
The GT1 3TOUR fairway is engineered with Titleist’s Seamless Thermoform Crown, incorporating its proprietary Matrix Polymer material.
This advanced crown structure reduces overall clubhead weight, allowing engineers to reposition mass for an optimised lower centre of gravity.
As a result, golfers benefit from higher launch characteristics while keeping spin in a more manageable range.

Dual performance settings give players control over ball flight and launch: a heavier weight placed forward supports faster ball speed and lower spin, while moving the weight to the back increases stability and launch height.
The standard setup positions the 11g weight forward for a penetrating flight.
Tour-Proven Technology
Tour adoption has been strong, with Titleist Brand Ambassadors Doug Ghim and Cameron Davis among the early users of the GT1 3TOUR.
The fairway’s shallow 180cc profile, combined with a redesigned internal hosel that frees additional discretionary weight, supports consistent launch conditions from various lies.
Alongside a choice of high-performance shafts — including Project X Denali Red, Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Blue, Project X HZRDUS Black 5th Gen, and a selection of premium Graphite Design options — the GT1 3TOUR is designed to fit a wide range of swing preferences.

The standard build ensures reliable stability, while fitting adjustments can tailor the fairway to individual players.
Titleist has priced the GT1 3TOUR at approximately £315 for the standard model and £470 for premium configurations.
The club will be available for fitting and pre-order immediately, with wider retail release from 7 August 2025.
Golfers seeking a stronger lofted fairway with tour-level precision are encouraged to explore fitting options through Titleist’s network.
