La Bagnaia Golf Resort has closed its hotel facilities for renovation following recognition as Italy’s Best Golf Hotel at the 2025 World Golf Awards, but the resort’s 18-hole championship course remains open throughout 2026.
The Tuscany venue earned the hotel title after receiving Italy’s Best Golf Course at the 2023 World Golf Awards. The resort closed at the end of the 2025 season to begin substantial facility upgrades.
While the hotel undergoes renovation work, Royal Golf La Bagnaia continues normal operations for golfers.

The stunning course at La Bagnaia Golf Resort, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, stretches 6,101 metres across 130 hectares of rolling Tuscan countryside near Siena.
